Proceeded in death by her parents & loving step-mother, Odessa Cannon Mayes, who raised her from age 3; Twin Sisters, Kitty May & Margie Ray Mayes; Husband, Bob Harden of 29 years; A loving companion of 18 years, Harold Kolbe; Son, David Kevin Harden; Brother, Wayne Mayes of Lavergne, TN; favorite brother-in-law Charles L. Duff Sr. of Bowling Green, KY.

She retired from Mallory Controls after 31½ years after they moved to Mexico & China. She then took care of her mother-in-law, Elmarie Harden, for 4½ years until her death.

She was a member of the Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler of 31 years in Cookeville and loved to travel on bowling trips with her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Harden of Sparta, three granddaughters, Jessica Harden of Cookeville; Tiffini Harden of Knoxville; Karissa Neal Sims (Justin) of Boise, Idaho; two great-granddaughters, Kimber & Emmett Sims of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Patricia Doyle (Joe); Virginia Duff; Treva Craft (Eugene) all of Bowling Green, KY; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; and many of her bowling friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday, March 24, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Perry Clayton will officiate.
