Ms. Mary Judith Johnson Elliott, affectionately known as Judy, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at Alive Hospice Residence Nashville, Tennessee.

Judy was born November 21, 1953 to the late Layron "W.L." and Leah Ellis Johnson, she is survived by her three sisters: Carol (Tom) Moore, Hendersonville, TN; Diana (John) Doss, Nashville, TN; Charlene (Don) Kennedy, Madison, MS; and brother Terry Johnson, Gallatin, TN and a greater family of nieces and nephews.

Judy was reared in the Baptist Church. As an adult, she identified with non-denominational believers.

Judy graduated from Warren County High School in 1971, then the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Fine Arts. Judy with her former husband established a successful Art and Design Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. In the years following, she lived in Charlotte, NC and applied her background to the graphic arts and printing industry for larger printing companies. She quickly established herself as a National Representative.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Alive Hospice Residence Nashville and Tennessee Oncology at Sumner Station, Gallatin for their professionalism and kind support.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Monday, June 19, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Monday at Hunter Funeral Home. Randall Kirby will officiate.
