Ms. Judy Diana Jackson Ison, age 76 of Monterey formerly of Sparta, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Judy was born July 10, 1945 in Jackson, County to the late William Carmel and Eudell Thomas Jackson. She retired after 30 years with Mallory. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles and watching murder mysteries on television. However, above all else, she loved caring for her family and friends close to her family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a son Stanley Fetterolf; daughter Sandra Harper; grandson Samuel Florea and two brothers Ronnie and Donnie Jackson.

Grandchildren: Stanley, Teresa, David, Daniel, John, Daniella, Jennifer, Jacky, Charles, Austin, Tyler, Andrew, Selina and Shawna

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am Monday, October 4, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sam Flatt Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Daniel Jackson will officiate.

Jacky McCloud, Charles Farley, Austin Kroenert, Tyler Fetterolf, Jonathon Moore and Matthew Kroenert will serve the family as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 90, Sparta, TN 38583 to help the Ison family with funeral expenses.
