Mrs. Kathleen Whitson Robinson, age 81 of Sparta, passed away at 2:45pm Friday, August 16, 2024 at Alive Hospice Murfreesboro.

Kathleen was born January 28, 1943 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Estle and Lillian Adell Walker Whitson. She was a longtime Mallory employee until it closed and will be fondly remembered for her years of service at Wal-Mart. The only thing she loved more than working was being Granny K to her family.

In addition to parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband  William Jackson "Jack" Robinson who died April 1, 2009; brother Charles Whitson; infant brother Gail Whitson and step-daughter Tiffany Jenkins.

Step-daughter: Sabrina Carnley

Great-grandchildren: Rylie, Zoe, Sadie, Timber, Paislee, Paityn, Henry and Jackson

Nephew: Mike (Paula) Whitson

Son-in-law: Von Jenkins

A host of special cousins, extended family and her Wal-Mart family

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Blue Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Buster Young will officiate.

Jordan Young, Oliver Jenkins, Mike Whitson, L.D. Marshall, Braxton Goodson and Wesley Richards will serve as pallbearers.
