Mrs. Kathleen Blanche White Simmons, age 86 of Sparta, passed away surrounded by family at 2:15pm Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital.

Mrs. Simmons was born August 15, 1935 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Fred and Maude Seals White. She was a former Doyle Shirt Factory worker, along with upholstery, furniture and mattress factories. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and she loved to quilt. In addition to her parents, several brothers and sisters also precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years Thomas Simmons

Daughter: Pam Isom and husband Chris

Grandchildren: Mary Beth Isom and Jessica Isom

Great-grandchildren: Rylee Williams and Ryker Williams

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, March 17, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Mike McAfee will officiate.
