Mr. Windell Keith Copeland, age 87 of Sparta, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 16, 2024 on his farm.

Keith was born September 12, 1937 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Bailey Larimore and Daisy Frances Milligan Copeland. He was a 1956 graduate of White County High School. He had a ten year career at Spartans Shirt Factory and ultimately retired from Mallory with over 30 years of service. Keith was an active member of Cherry Creek Church of Christ, White County Cattelman's Association and a veteran of the National Guard. His greatest joy in life in addition to his late wife was working on his farm. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of over 44 years, Glenda Ann Swindell Copeland who died February 3, 2007; brothers Lynn, Glynn and Gary Copeland; niece Gail Copeland.

Survivors include his two sister-in-laws Hazel Copeland and Wilma Copeland

Nieces: Mary Beth Copeland Clouse, Dana (Michael) Baker, II, Kristy (Chris) Wilson

Nephews: Terry (Kelly) Copeland and Brent (Cathy) Copeland

Several great-nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Copeland Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Carl Sims and Blake Williams will officiate.

Terry Copeland, Brent Copeland, Hunter Copeland, Chris Wilson, Kaden Hatmaker and Charlie Poston will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Clouse, Michael Baker, III, Gunnar Baker and Ryker Baker
