Ms. Leisa Renee Yates, age 59 of Quebeck, passed away at 6:29am on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Leisa was born June 2, 1965 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late James Howard "Buck" and Frances Marylene Swack Yates. Leisa was well known for her many cashier jobs around White County and she was always one to run the roads too. She loved to cook and always wanted her family to have something that she had prepared. Many of her memories are captured in the many scrapbooks that she made. Leisa was a member of Doyle First Baptist Church. Her greatest love was her love for her family especially that of her late son, James Levi West who died August 15, 2023. In addition to Levi and her parents, she is also preceded in death by a sister Joyce Gantt.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00pm Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Anderson Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Tim Judd will officiate.

Cameron Carter, Caleb Carter, Michael Carter, James Yates and John Yates will serve as pallbearers
