Mrs. Linda Sue Wilson Dunham, age 77 of Sparta, passed away at 4:45am Sunday morning, September 18, 2022 at Life Care Center of Sparta surrounded by her family.

Sue was born February 23, 1945 in White County to the late Joe Paul & Arlene Wilson. After a 30-year career, she retired from Red Kap and continued working at Life Care Center of Sparta. She was a lifelong member of Frasers Chapel Methodist Church. If you needed to find Sue (and her phone was busy because she was always using it), you could find her sitting on her front porch where she spent countless, happy hours. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She adored them all. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Edwin Ray "Buddy" Dunham; her daughter Michelle Lafever; siblings Frances Guy, Jean Sparks, Bobby Wilson and Sarah Wilson.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her son Jimmy (Kim) Dunham

Three sisters: Joyce (Danny) Kirby, Mary (Carl) Sparks, Kathy (David) Guy

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Frasers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Floyd Massey and Ken Wallace will officiate.

Zane Lafever, Justin Dodson, Ernie Dodson, Johnny Russell, Jorge Rivera, Mike Kerr and Chase Clark will serve the family as pallbearers.
