Mrs. Lois Annetta Young Winnett, age 83 of Sparta, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Lois was born February 1, 1939 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Milo Franklin and Bessie Bell Franklin Young. She was a shirt factory worker for 26 years and then later retired from Mallory. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with her family. Lois loved playing dominoes with her beloved friend, Margie Roberts, and caring for her many cats, and her dog, Roscoe. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a son Ernie Bruce Parrish; daughter Audrey Elaine Parrish and her loving husband Tom Winnett; siblings Mildred Brady, Vaughn Young, Lon Olan Young, Franklin Young and Lucille Barnes.

Granddaughter: Angela (John) England

Daughter: Frances Hodge

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Young Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00pm Monday at Hunter Funeral Home. Michael Weedman and Kerry Young will officiate.

Charles Miller, Todd Young, Matt Randolph, Jackie Hodge, John England, Jessie Young, Harold Billings and William Price will serve the family as pallbearers.
