Mrs. Lola Mae Gilreath Conant, age 88 of the Bon Air Community, passed away peacefully Thursday morning October 6, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Conant was born March 6, 1934 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late William Molton & Evelena Carter Gilreath. She was a retired garment factory supervisor after beginning her career as a seamstress. She was an avid fan WWE Wrestling and any football game on television. She enjoyed quilting but her greatest passion in life was her great and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Ray Vance Conant who died November 4, 2018 and son Kenneth Ray Conant.

She is lovingly survived by her son David Keith Conant & wife Marilyn

Grandson: Jonathan Keith Conant & wife Misty

Great Grandchildren: Teonna Malone & husband Blake, Myles Keith and wife Winter Conant

Three great-great-grandchildren Jonathan Ray Malone, Blakelyn La'Dawn Malone and Rian Keith Conant

Brother: Bobby Gilreath and wife Mable

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Rudy Oakes will officiate.

Jonathan Conant, Myles Conant, Blake Malone, Eddie Gentry, Tim Davis, John Byington and Larry Simmons will serve the family as pallbearers.
