Mrs. Mamie Lou Ballew Doney, age 82 of Sparta passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Standing Stone Health Care in Monterey,TN.  She was born March 19, 1939 in Van Buren County to the late Emery and Maggie Yates Greene.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Magdalene Boles, Brothers & Sisters:  James Ernest Greene, Modus Greene, Feebie Barnes, Margaret Smith, Omie June Miller, Beatrice Lance, and Verna Blanton along with 2 grandsons: Danny Copeland and Brian Walker, and 2 great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her sons:  Tommy & Cheryl Johnston Ballew of Sparta and Robert Ballew of Sparta

Grandchildren:  Daniel (Kim) Ballew, James (LaTasha) Ballew, Joseph Tindell, Tommy (Charlene) Tindell, Chevain Summers, Donnie (Shasta) West, Candi West, Jessica West, Laura Elliot, and Dustin Adam (Amanda) Ballew

Step Grandchildren:  Stephanie Bickford, Kaytlyn Bickford, and Michael Manus and thier mother: Verena Ballew

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Hensley Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the Young Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends after 5:00 pm on Friday at the Church.  Bro. Jason Lewis will officiate the service.
