Mr. Marchel Darrell Clark, age 69 of Cookeville, TN passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Marchel was born in Sparta, Tennessee on January 4, 1957, to the late Edd and Marie Clark. He was a devoted son, father and friend who gave everything he had to raise his boys right and believed deeply in showing up every day and making the most of the life he was given. Marchel lived life to the fullest, embracing each day with humor, and an open spirit. He enjoyed people, experiences, and the simple moments that made life meaningful, and he never met a stranger along the way. He approached life head-on, with resilience and heart, and taught by example that life is meant to be lived fully, not cautiously. His legacy is one of presence, perseverance, and a life fully lived.

Those left to cherish and carry forward his memory include his three sons: Justin; Todd and his wife, Nikki; and Daryll and his wife, Ashley.

Marchel was preceded in death by his brother Steve Clark.

• DUE TO FORECASTED WEATHER FOR SATURDAY, Graveside services will now be conducted 3:00pm Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Young Cemetery. There will be visitation prior to the service. Dewey Young will officiate.
