Mrs. Marian Inez Sherrell Lowery, age 76 of Sparta, passed away at 7:40pm Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Marian was born April 25, 1946 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late William Orvil and Lillian Troglen Sherrell. She was a former Red Kap employee. She was a longtime active member of North Sparta Church of God. She loved to listen to gospel music, most notably the Gaithers. The thing in life that made her the happiest was being with her family, especially with her grandson, Dustin. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by siblings, Bobby, Wayne, Tommy, Lolly, Bruce and Tina.

Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with Marian's cremation and a memorial service will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, August 5, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Dustin Green will officiate.
