Mr. Mark Randall Cope, age 59 of Sparta, passed away at 9:45am Sunday, December 4, 2022 in the emergency room of Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mark was born January 24, 1963 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Henry Clyde and Ruth Earnestine Young Cope. He was a former dairy truck driver and mechanic. He was a movie buff and loved to spend time watching movies. However, his favorite activity was being Pa to all of his grandchildren and most recently his great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son Adam Taylor Cope and brother Clyde Lee Cope.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years Regina Cope

Son: Mark Anthony Cope, Jr. and wife Ashley Ann Cope

Daughter: Ashley Dawn Cope

Step-children: Johnny Parks, Bobby Clyde Michael Parks and Bruce Lee

Grandchildren: Destiny, Jazmine, Noah, Izaiah, Angel, Mackenzie, Adam, Jonathan, Ashton, Dana, Cody, Kaylee, Katelyn, Billy Jack, and Jacob

Great-grand: Andrew

Brother: Gary Cope and wife Linda

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, December 8, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Young Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. Gary Cope will officiate.

Brandon Frasier, Ashton Parks, Noah Cope, Anthony Cope and Cody Reece will serve as pallbearers.
