Ms. Marsha Ann Ray, age 68 of Sparta, passed away at 7:20pm Monday, September 5, 2022 at her residence.

Marsha was born January 8, 1954 in Sparta, Tennessee. She was a former Mallory employee until its closing and then had a career as a CNA at Life Care Center of Sparta. She was an antique tractor pulling enthusiast, both as a participant and a spectator. She was an avid NASCAR fan, especially years ago when the black #3 was on the track. She was also a fan of Lady Vols basketball. Marsha is preceded in death by her father Walter Ray; step-father Gordon Frazier and her brother Billy Ray.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her son Billy G. Ray and Derona Lee and son Ethan

Marsha's family has entrusted Hunter Funeral Home with her cremation and a memorial service will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday, September 10, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Doug Goff will officiate.
