Mary Frances Cantrell Young's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Frances Cantrell Young, age 90 of Sparta, passed away Tuesday evening, December 13, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Young was born June 30, 1932 in Dekalb County to the late Clarence Howard and Mary Leeola Jones Cantrell. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cross stitch, feeding the birds and reading. Mrs. Young was saved and baptized at the age of 28 and was a longtime member of Hensley Chapel Baptist Church. Her passion in life was serving her Lord and being a mother and

to her large family.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Grundy Lee Young who died on January 1, 2007; son Donnie Vanatta and her brother Clarence Cantrell, Jr.
Mary is lovingly survived by her
Children: Patty Young & husband Buster, Jill Cunningham, Vanessa Cunningham & husband Danny,
Louise Allen, Leland Lerch, Hilda Davis & husband Mark, Tony Young & wife Diane
Nineteen grandchildren
Forty-two great-grandchildren

In consideration of the health and safety of family and friends, a private funeral was conducted 1:00pm Friday, December 16, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Young Cemetery. Alan Hutchison officiated
Jason Holder, Dakota Randolph,
Dustin Brady, Barry Young, Noah Gateley and Daniel Young, Jr. served the family as pallbearers.
