Mrs. Mary Frances Davis Rich, age 76 of Sparta, passed away Thursday evening September 9, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Frances was born December 9, 1944 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Myrtle Lorine Fletcher Davis. She was a shirt factory worker and homemaker. She was an avid fisherman but above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband John Rich; brothers Charlie V. Davis, Jimmy Davis and Gene Davis.

Survivors include her son James Farris and wife Stephanie

Beloved grandchildren: Jasmine, Jaycee, James, Jackson, Jacqueline and Jameson

Cousins: Reta Gardner and Edna Dabbs

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Sister Ruby will officiate.
