Ms. Mary Alene Witt Rigsby, age 93 of Doyle, passed away at 11:05pm Thursday, May 19, 2022 at NHC of Sparta.

Alene was born February 25, 1929 in White County to the late Andrew Jackson & Thena Wilson Witt. She was a former factory worker and hairdresser. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter Jeannie Diann Rigsby; sister Elsie Reno Swoape; brother Woodrow Witt; companion Bobby Gene Revis.

Survivors include her two sons Jimmy Wayne (Carol) Rigsby, Jeffery Layne (Robin) Rigsby

Grandchildren: Shonda Jacobs, Josh Hathcock, Tabitha Oakley and Brandy Rigsby

Sister-in-law: Betty Rigsby

Caregiver and friend: Nathan Hawkins

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, May 23, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Preston Heights Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Monday at Hunter Funeral Home. Nathan Hawkins will officiate.
