Ms. Mica Delynn Myers Cowen, age 53 of Sparta, passed away at 6:45pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Mica was born August 21, 1967 in Sparta, Tennessee. She had a work history that included Wagner, TRW, WCMS cafeteria staff and she sold candles. When she was not working or spending time with her family, she was headed to the lake for sun and swimming. Mica is preceded in death by her father Donald Myers and sister June Myers.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her daughter Ashley Morrill

Two sons: Justin Cowen and Jacob Cowen

Grandchildren: Payton Morrill, Kross Burris and Jeffrey Cowen

Mother: Carolyn Petty Mabe and husband Dillard

Brother: Bink Myers

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Monday, August 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Monday at Hunter Funeral Home.

Jacob Cowen, Justin Cowen, Blake Burris, Payton Morrill, William Anderson, Jareth McFrisby and Johnny Turrington will serve the family as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunter Funeral Home, PO Box 90, Sparta, TN 38583 to help the Cowen family with funeral expenses.
