Mr. Michael Eugene Scott, age 68 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at his residence.

Michael was born June 26, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Margaret Turner Scott and Samuel T. Scott. He was a machinist in the automobile industry. Michael was an avid outdoorsman, loving to visit the Great Smoky Mountains and in 2003 took a 19 day trip camping from the top of  Michigan to the bottom along the lakeshore.  He was a Civil War enthusiast and a collector of Arrowheads.

Surviving family members include his two brothers Gary Scott and wife Kim, Joe Donald Scott and wife Sandy

Niece: Rachel Scott

Nephew: Sean Scott

Three aunts: Wallene Hutcherson, Marie Savage, Dean Sparkman and husband Edward

Several cousins and extended family also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Scott Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Wednesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Tracy Curtis will officiate.
