Ms. Mildred Louise Webster, affectionately known as Mickey, age 91 of Sparta, passed away at 3:55am Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Life Care Center of Sparta.

Mickey was born July 22, 1933 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Milo Stewart and Gladys Frances Stewart Webster. After graduating from White County High School in 1951, as Salutatorian, she had a clerical career for Sparta Monumental Works and Sparta Electric System, as well as  a few days a week for John Knowles' law firm during her retirement years. She was an active member of the Sparta Nazarene Church where she played the organ for many years. She loved her Lord, serving Him through music. In addition, she was a talented writer creating many poems, essays and music throughout the years. In fact, one song was copyrighted and published. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and game shows on television, but most of all, she enjoyed visiting with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Lynda Kaye Webster Jones and her husband David.

Surviving family members include her brother Dan Webster and wife Paula of Gatesville, TX

Nieces: Debbie Jone Duke and husband Jeff, Shanna Webster Sollberger and husband Derek

Nephew: Mark Webster and wife Beckie

Great-nieces: Andrea, Alicia, Hailey, Alex and Hannah

Great-nephew: Carson

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2:00pm Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Greg Keller will officiate.
