Mr. Micky Wayne Mace, age 70 of Baxter, a native of White County, passed away at 3:20am on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Micky was born January 31, 1953 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Johnny and Beulah Dillon Mace. He was a longtime mechanic at Hunter's Auto Salvage in Cookeville. Micky served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by the mother of his children Diane Goldsmith; sisters Lucy Dockery, Betty Forstner, Nancy Cantrell and brother Herbert Mace.

Survivors include his children Mindy Mace, Matthew Mace and Mike Kreiger

Grandchildren: Nathen Mace, Brittany Daniels, Alex Daniels, Mickenzie Daniels, Sean Nelson,II, Alyssa Kreiger, Tyler Henry and Travis Henry

Former wife and caregiver Deborah Mace

Step-children: Bradley Randolph and Data (Eric) Cleghor

Sisters: Doris (Wesley) Ward, Millie (Tim) Ashburn, Wilma Thrower and Lennie Montgomery

Brothers: Ricky Mace and LeRoy Mace

A host of nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, May 26, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors by the Veterans' Honor Guard will follow in Jericho Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home.
