Mrs. Myra Beatrice Gooch Lack, age 90 of Sparta, passed away at 1:50am Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at her daughter's residence.

Mrs. Lack was born June 21, 1932 in Sparta to the late Charlie Hatton and Rebecca Elizabeth Pollard Gooch. She was a homemaker who enjoyed watching Nascar, especially #3 Dale Earnhardt. Above all else, Myra was a dedicated and caring Granny Bea to her large, loving family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Wesley Lack who died on October 16, 1981; brother Charles E. Gooch; sisters Virginia Birdsong and Ruetta Gilmore; 2 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; companion J.D. Turner; and son-in-law Foster Nelson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1pm Friday, November 18, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Pollard Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10am Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Ricky Lack will officiate the service.

Christopher Lack, Bryan Lack, Raymond Nelson, Angelo Seeton, Pateano Seeton and Josh Earles will serve the family as pallbearers.
