Mr. Noah Glenn Ward, known by friends as Glenn, age 75 of Sparta, passed away Monday morning, June 14, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Glenn was born July 20, 1945 in Doyle, Tennessee to the late Noah Lee & Augusta Mai Jordan Ward. He was a United States Army Veteran where he served as a cook. He retired from Forest Nursery after 23 years of service and then went on to work 13 years at Cumberland Lumber. Glenn was an avid fisherman and rabbit hunter. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by infant twin sons, Ronnie and Donnie Ward; grandson Jerry Lee "Spud" Hensley, Jr.; brothers, Theron, Wilmer, Charles, Clifford, John Thomas and Bobby Lee Ward; sister Eunice Simmons.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Sandra Ward of Sparta

Daughter: Sonya Myers of McMinnville

Daughter: Roxanne (Jerry) Hensley of Sparta

Grandchildren: Holly Cherry & Tyler Lowe, Scytha (Brandon) Loader, Jacob Hubbard & Joanna Johnson, Glenn Hensley

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. Burial with military honors presented by the Veterans' Honor Guard will follow in Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time Wednesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Danny Rogers will officiate.

Jacob Hubbard, Glenn Hensley, Tyler Lowe, Benjamin Rangel, Jesus Rangel and Eddie Rogers will serve the family as pallbearers
