Ms. Nyta Faye Hill, age 87 of Sparta, journeyed to her heavenly home at 2:15am on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Nyta was born May 21, 1936 in the Cummingsville community of Van Buren County to the late Bluford Lee and Beulah Shockley Hill, Sr. Nyta attended Tennessee Tech where she received her degree in Computer Science. She worked as a computer operator for Fleetguard until her retirement. She spent some of her retirement years working at Broadway Market in Sparta. She was a devoted member of Oakwood Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a nephew Gerald L. Irwin.

Nyta is survived by her sister Wilna Davis of Michigan

Devoted niece: Deobrah "Shon" Irwin of Sparta

Nieces: Sonya Jennings and Randa Davis both of Michigan

Devoted great-great-niece: Azariah "Azzy" Irwin of Sparta

Two nephews: Dohn Davis, Jr. of Michigan and Bluford "Lee" (Michelle) Hill, III of Las Vegas

Great-nephew: JaQuay Irwin of Sparta

Great-niece: Frannie Jennings of Michigan

Great-great-nephews : JaQuay Montero of Cookeville and William Fenn of Michigan

Great-great-niece: Kerah Lewis of Sparta

In honor of Nyta's wishes, she will be cremated and a private family burial of her ashes will be conducted at Davis Cemetery.
