Orville Hodge, age 86 of Sparta, TN passed away Friday, October 25th at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1938 to the late Jess and Verlie Barker Hodge. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers: Phid Hodge, Ewion Hodge, Clarence Hodge, Vernon Hodge, and James Hodge, Sisters:  Louvennie Walker, Nell Sparkman, Susan Kirkpatrick and Virginia Farley.

He was a loyal employee of Malloy Controls, retiring on April 26, 2002. After retirement, he enjoyed staying busy at home and was devoted to his beloved family. Orville was a wonderful loving father and husband, providing for those he loved greatly. Orville took great pride in his faith as a Christian and was ready to go home to meet the Lord. He was very much loved and will greatly missed by his family.

He left behind his loving wife Martha Hodge of 59 years and 11 months.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Sparta First Baptist Church with burial in the Saylors Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 10am until Service time on Wednesday.  Bro Brad Walker will officiate the services.
