Ms. Patsy Lou Silvis Hudgens, better known as Pati, age 90 of Sparta, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at her residence.

Pati was born October 29, 1934 in Ohio, Pennsylvania to the late Donald Earles & Ruth Elizabeth Polliard Silvis. Pati worked 30 years in customer service with United Airlines.  Her employment with the airline gave her the opportunity to live in different parts of the United States as well travel extensively by air. She spent 19 years of her retirement years working at the Sparta Senior Citizens Center.  Pati had a green thumb and loved to care for her flowers, especially orchids and has cared for the same Bonsai Tree since the 1960's. She was also an avid dancer and was a regular at The Barn and John Henry Demps dance hall.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Dan Bonner Hudgens who died April 2, 2000.

Niece: Lisa Paz Mason

Extended family: Bonnie Zehm, Kanani and Scott Briggs, their sons Dominic and Riley, Jan Acdan and her children, Kiai, Arynn and IkaIka Anoc, Mary-Jo Gallagher Hudgens,  Dennis Griffin and David Griffin

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00pm Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery. There will be on public visitation prior to the service. Clarence Jared will officiate.
