Obituary

Ms. Patricia Ann Clark Simpson, better known as Pat, age 61 of Sparta, passed away at 8:41pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Pat was born October 20, 1959 in Sparta, Tennessee to Mollie Ruth Swindell Clark and the late Billie Ermon Clark. She was a quality auditor at PMI after a 25 year career at Mallory. A member of the Doyle United Methodist Church, she was instrumental in the Children's Church and was especially active with their help center. The children of the church affectionately knew her as "Candy Lady." Pat enjoyed swimming, going to yard sales, and playing games on her phone. One thing was for certain - wherever she was, she was the life of the party. Pat was also a published poet and could recite poetry from memory. Above all else, her passion in life was being a good Mammy to her beloved grandchildren.

Surviving family members include her two daughters Joni Trivette and husband Daniel, Star Simpson and Justin Sorrell
