Mrs. Penelope Louise Curtis Cole affectionately known as Penny, age 67 of Baxter, Tennessee, passed away at 6:21 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Penny was born February 9, 1954 in Streator, Illinois to the late James Edwin & Shirley Louise Peterson Curtis. She was a former paralegal and enjoyed reading books and watching movies in her spare time. She was also an avid gardener who loved to work with her flowers. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Dennis Cole.

Surviving family members include her son Jordan Cole and wife Cacee

Two brothers: Daniel Curtis and wife Claudia, Scott Curtis

Nephew: Matthew Curtis

Niece: Stephanie Curtis

In honor of Penny's wishes, she will be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
