Mr. Raymond William Lewis better known as Bill, age 77 of Doyle, formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital.

Bill was born October 18, 1944 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Raymond Paul & Helen Mae Wright Lewis. He was a retired newspaper printer with 35 years of service to Gannett Publishing. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed wood working, was an avid fisherman and was a wonderful cook. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother Donald Lewis and a sister Barbara Anderson.

Survivors include his five sisters Judith (James Young) Lewis, Becky (Junior) Cantu, Alice (Victor) Donafrio, Julie Lewis, Karen Lewis and Charles Doney

Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with Bill's cremation and a memorial service will be conducted 2:00pm Friday, April 15, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by the Veterans' Honor Gurard.
