Mr. James Richard Adcock, affectionately known as "Peanut" age 71 of the Indian Mound Community of White County, passed away March 23, 2025 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta.

Richard was born July 12, 1953 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Jesse James and Rena Luna "Dinky" Adcock. He stayed busy doing odd jobs for his neighbors and friends and taking care of his late father. He belonged to Taylors Providence Church.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother Myron Adcock.

Survivors include his two brothers Shannon Weaver and Tim Adcock

Two cousins: Doug Young and Darryl Adcock

A host of friends, church family and extended family also survive

In honor of Richard's wishes, a private burial was conducted on March 25, 2025 at Taylors Providence Cemetery.
