Mr. Richard F. Crider, better known as Rick, age 68 of Doyle, passed away at 2:55am Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Rick was born December 5, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Charles Edwin and Magdalene Blanton Crider. During his 34-year career as a truck driver, Rick visited all of the continental United States and made trips into Canada and Mexico. When he was not on the road, he enjoyed fishing and camping. Rick loved to mow his yard and have his grandkids ride in his lap as he did so. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by siblings Edwin Crider, Sharon Peters, Arthur Crider and Melvin Crider.

Siblings: Kenny Crider, Michael Crider, Kevin Crider, Beverly Kelly

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday, May 6, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Doyle Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Eugene Bray will officiate.

Bobby Crider, Danny Crider, Blake Dishman, Joseph Nelson Jr., Dylan Nelson and Nicholas Nelson will serve the family as pallbearers.
