Robert Earl "Bob" Baker, age 79 of Sparta passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at his residence.  He was born August 15, 1944 in White County.  He is preceded in death by his parents:  William Thomas Baker and Gertrude Blaylock Baker along with a son: Robert Allen Baker, Sisters:  Joyce Cruz and Shirley Baker, and a brother: Bill Baker.

Bob worked at J & S Construction,  Sparta Block and Tank, Ambulance service and at NHC of Sparta.

He is survived by his wife:  Anna Louise Bumbalough Baker

Daughters:  Melissa Cooper and Angela Baker

son:  Charles Derek Baker

7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren

and a brother: Deland Baker

His wishes was to be cremated and will have a private family memorial service later
