Mr. Robert Earl "Stick" Phillips, age 62 of Sparta passed away at 5:15pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Robert was born September 25, 1958 in the Bon Air Community of White County to Ann Meadows Phillips and the late Willie Joe Phillips. He was a sawmill worker. Stick was a collector, he enjoyed fishing and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He served in the National Guard.

Surviving family members include his two sons Brandon Phillips of Sparta and Raymond Phillips of Murfreesboro

Sister: Joann Zack of Ohio

Graveside services with military honors by the Veterans' Honor Guard will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at New Bon Air Cemetery. In consideration of the health and safety of family and friends with the current COVID pandemic there will no visitation prior to the service.
