Mr. Robert Lee Steele, Sr. age 72 of Sparta passed away Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026 at his residence.  He was born October 4, 1953 in Sparta to the late Virgil and Mary Young Steele.  He was also preceded in death by his wife:  Vivian Darlene Spivey Steele, his brothers: James and Johnny Steele, his sisters:  Mary Maxine Blaylock, Oral Dean Steele, and Betty Steele Williams.

Robert was a brick and rock mason.

He is survived by his children:  Robert L. Steele Jr & Wife Trisha,  Christy Steele, Tammy Steele, and Keaton Steele & fiance Julia Judd.
