Mr. Robert Carl Brewington, affectionately known as Tank, age 68 passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his residence.

Tank was born April 18, 1953 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Argo and Beatrice "Bea" Shockley Brewington. He was a 1971 graduate of White County High School. He was a former employee of Mallory Timers for 34 years and also worked at Keesling Sawmill for 16 years after his Mallory shift. He was currently working on the farm of Arlie Montgomery as well as his own farm. Tank loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Tank loved being with his grandchildren and going to car shows. He was very proud of his 1965 Chevelle that he was restoring, known as "Pa's Toy." In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother Billy J. Brewington and nephew Troy Young.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Debra Culley Brewington

Sons: Lynn (Ashley) Brewington, Chris (Monica) Brewington and Shane (Amy) Heath all of Sparta

Grandchildren: Delicia Brewington, Trenton Brewington, Trey Brewington, Clay Brewington, Lydia Brewington, Thomas Brewington, Chloe Flatt, Braden Brewington, Kaitlyn Heath, Dominique Gayle, Amia Heath and Shayna Reece

Great-grandchildren: Kysen, Kayden and Kynzley Davison

Sister: Hattie M. Young

Nephews: Kirk (Doris) Young and Brent Young

Special cousin: Billy Cummings

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, December 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Plum Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Dr. Ty Webb will officiate.

Braden Brewington, Trenton Brewington, Trey Brewington, Shane Heath, Tobby Culley and Trent Pryor will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Young, Tom Frazier, John Lowery, Ronnie Burchett, Arlie Montgomery, Ben Gardenhire, Billy Cummings, Robert Officer, Steve Dodson and Tony Officer

The register book for Tank will be available Tuesday from 8-4:00pm and after 8:00am Wednesday in the Parlor of Hunter Funeral Home for friends not comfortable being in a crowd
