Ms. Ruby Pearl Davis Howell, age 80 of Sparta, passed away at 4:58pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Ruby was born January 11, 1942 in Sparta, Tennessee. She was a former employee of LTW. She took great joy in taking care of people, spending her free time sitting with the elderly and working at Pacesetters for several years. However, her greatest joy was being Mema to her family. She would always host holidays, cooking  and taking care of those she loved most.

Ruby is preceded in death by her father Marion Davis; mother Jewell Lack Davis Hyder; brother Dillard Ray "Buddy" Davis; infant brother Willard Clay Davis; sisters Anna Bell Winnett, Marie Roberts, Jean Hale, Blanche Roberts and Reba Blanton who died on May 23, 2022.

Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include two sons Terry Golden and wife Natalie

In honor of Ruby's wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes buried in Highland Cemetery. There are no services planned at this time.
