Mrs. Ruby Rhea Swindell Marcum, age 78 of Sullivan Knowles Road in Sparta,TN passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1933 in White County,TN to the late Ralston Jay and Gertrude Barnes Swindell. She was also preceded in death by her 1st Husband: Meril Carson Marcum, Sister: Birdie Ellen Gooch, Brother: Gerald Swindell, and Son-in-law: Gary Kirby. Mrs. Ruby worked at Wagner Electric.

She is survived by her: Husband: Samuel Earl Marcum of Sparta

2 Daughters: Sue (Bob) Hickey of Murfreesboro,TN and Evelyn Kirby of Sparta

3 Sons: Michael (Brenda) Marcum of Sparta, Jerry Marcum of Atlanta,GA and Perry (Kaye) Marcum of Sparta
