Mrs. Ruby Ann Young Dillon, age 78 of South Pittsburgh, formerly of Sparta, passed away at 8:24am Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her residence.

Ruby was born May 5, 1943 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late James Estel and Willie Lee Brady Young. She was a homemaker and her passion in life was spending time with her large family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Dillard Dillon; son Michael Dewayne Dillon; siblings Myrtle, Hazel, Geraldine, James, Frederick, Billy, James Richard, Kenneth, Harold and Leonard.

Survivors include her two daughters Donaree (Shawn) Masters and Deobrah (McLouis) Peterman

Two sons: Dillard Thomas (Christy) Dillon and Timothy William Dillon

21 grandchildren: Shaun, Brandon, Justin, Candice, Michael, Angela, Franny, David, Ola, Daniel, Shellene, Brent, Selena, Jacob, Dakota, Shantel, Tyler, Aliyah, T.J., Akyra and Tori

22 great-grandchildren

Sisters: Elsie Gentry, Linda Mooneyham and Mary Flatt

Memorial services will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00pm on the 18th. Bobby Floyd will officiate.
