Sadie Ruth Goodson Young, age 71 of Sparta passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1954 in Sparta to the late Robert Ernest & Evelyn Roberts Goodson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband L.K. Young and a sister Debbie Miller.

Sadie worked at Red Kap Industries and drove a bus for White County School System for several years.

She attended the Sparta Church of God of Prophesy

She is survived by her sons:  Jeffrey (Cathryn) Lowery, Bruce (Dona) Lowery, Kevin Lowery, and Curtis (Melissa) Lowery

Grandchildren:  Tyler, Cody, Matthew, Cayden, Amber Sharee, Adalanne, Hannah and  Colby & wife Alli

Great-Grandchild:  Hayden

Sisters:  Donna Kirby and Diane Miller

Brother:  Darrell Goodson

Along with other family members and her fur baby, Lilly

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 23, 2025  with burial in the Highland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on Friday.  Rev. Robert  "Tooter" Roberts will officiate the services.
