Mrs. Sandra Sue Brock Copeland, age 83 of Sparta, passed away at 6:00am Christmas Eve morning at her residence.

Sandy as she was affectionately known by family and friends was born April 10, 1938 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Ossie and Dora Griffin Brock. She was a retired factory worker and farmer alongside her late husband on their 127.25 acre farm. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband William Clyde Copeland who died on June 25, 2005; sister Patricia Cantrell and brother Jack Brock.

Survivors include her sister-in-law and caregiver Betty Copeland

Nieces: Beverly Wilson and husband Don, Jackie Brock all of Sparta, Rhonda McCheyne of Lavergne, TN

Nephew: Joe T. Copeland and wife Tammy of Sparta

Great-nephew: Josh Spakes of Sparta

Great-nieces: Haley Copeland of Sparta, Jennifer Ingles and husband Vince of Georgia

Cousin: Brenda Griffin Gaw

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Wheeler Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday in the Quarles Room of Hunter Funeral Home. Josh Myers, Danny Lane and Dr. Robert Knowles will officiate.

Josh Spakes, Danny Emery, Robert Johnson, Charles Boles, Donnie Daniels and Blake Williams will serve the family as pallbearers.
