Mr. Scottie Lee Vinson, age 46, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.

Scottie was born April 16, 1975 in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was a machinist at BBB Industries who enjoyed working with metal and had recently purchased wood working equipment. As an avid outdoorsman, Scottie loved fishing, farming and four-wheeler rides. If he had to be indoors, he liked to shoot pool and play with his dogs. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children and his family. Scottie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Earl & Velma Vinson, Frank & Marie Driver; several aunts and uncles; two fur babies Diesel and Griffin also precede him in death.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his four children Sariah Vinson, Alek Vinson, Aleah Vinson and Noah Vinson

Sister: Tiffany Rutherford and husband Charles Rutherford

A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Vinson Farms (2927 Will Thompson Road, Walling, TN 38587). Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time Wednesday at the family farm. Tony Vinson, Jason Lewis and Bro. Mike Prater will officiate.

Travis McBride, Charles Rutherford, Terry Vinson, Ben Howard, Sam Howard, Allen Frasier, David Pittman and Tim Hauk will serve the family as pallbearers.
