Mr. Stephen Duane Good, known by Steve to his friends, moved from this life on Sunday, September 10, 2023 into heaven. He was born July 3, 1972 in Akron, Ohio to Forrest and Carolyn Knowles Good. He was an avid outdoorsmen, loving to fish, hunt and work in his garden. On Saturdays in the fall, his blood ran orange as he was a dedicated University of Tennessee football fan.

Stephen is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Good who died June 10, 2013; maternal grandparents, Willie and Liza L. Knowles; paternal grandparents, Frederick and Frances Good.

Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his wife of 13 years Joyce Good

Daughter: Bethany Elaine Good

Son: Michael Lane Good

Father and mother: Forrest and Carolyn Good

Nieces and nephews: Kimberly (James) Knapp, T.C. (Lyndee) Good, Tyler Good, Leslie (Sean) Melton

Several great-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Friday, September 15, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Friday at Hunter Funeral Home. Steve Breedlove will officiate.

David Clouse, Philip Knowles, T.C. Good, Tyler Good, James Knapp and Sean Melton will serve the family as pallbearers.
