Mr. Terry Stephen Officer, age 63 of Sparta, passed away at 9:30am Friday, December 1, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Terry was born August 15, 1960 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Willie Leslie and Jean Evelyn Bray Officer. Terry was a longtime employee of Oster. He loved spending time with family and his close friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing and boating with his parents and his brother.

Survivors include his sister Kathy Officer Sullivan and husband Herd, their son Shaun Sullivan and wife Ginny

Brother: William Michael Officer and wife Connie, their son Aaron Vinson

Two great-nieces: Makayla and Madison Sullivan

A host of friends and cousins also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday, December 3, 2023 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1:00pm Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home. Bro. Ricky Scott will officiate.

Shaun Sullivan, Jay Massa, Mickey "Flick" Phifer, Robert Officer, Tucker Massa, Jim Usrey, Aaron Vinson and Daniel Killian will serve the family as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Brogden, Larry Officer, Daryl Leonard and Eddie Clark
