Vaunda Lucille Johnson Copeland, age 66 of Spencer, passed away on Sunday September 11, 2022 at Signature Healthcare in Algood, TN.

Vaunda was born October 24, 1955 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late James Mitchell & Abbie Christine Crawford Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her two children, Robert Mitchell "Tooter" Johnson and Kristy Diane "Sissy" Johnson Jones; grandparents Albert Burton Crawford, Josie R. Scott Crawford and Lucille Johnson Dye; brother Raymond E. Johnson, Larry R. Johnson, William N. Johnson and Bruce D. Johnson; sister-in-law Claudette Johnson; special friend Roger Henry.

Survivors include her brother James F. Johnson and wife Gail of Florida

Niece: Nicole Johnson and her two sons Drake Freeman and Phil Smith

Sister-in-law: Betty Johnson

Faithful friends Gina Thompson and Brandie Walls

Father of her daughter: John Copeland

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Eastland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Sam Davis will officiate.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
