Ms. Velva Laurine McPeak, well known as half of the McPeak Twins, age 94, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, April 2, 2022 at the home of her niece.

Laurine was born July 16, 1927 in the Hickory Valley Community of White County to the late John Christopher "J.C." & Stella Davis McPeak. She was a retired shirt factory worker. She enjoyed collecting antiques, ceramic roosters and other collectables.  She loved gardening and working with her flowers. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother J.B. McPeak; sisters Clata Dell Horton and Mattie Cruise.

Survivors include her twin sister Ernestine Boyd

Niece: Gail (Dale) Blankenship

Nephews: Steve (Debby) Boyd, Ronnie (Beverly) Cruise

Several great-nieces and nephews also survive

In honor of Laurine's wishes, she will be cremated and no services are planned.
