As a young woman she had to play the guitar and sing at family gatherings which she said she hated but the last couple of years she started singing church hymns from her childhood off-key and really loud and seemed to enjoy it very much. She had a wicked sense of humor and loved to be around people. She left her mark wherever she went.
The family wishes to thank Grace Cruz, her caregiver for several years, and all the caregivers and staff at Almabella Manor II in Vallejo especially Annie that held our hand through this process. And a special thank you to Susan Rice and Donna Gorden who helped whenever we needed it.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Elrod Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10:00am Wednesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Bobby Moore will officiate.
