Mrs. Wanda Hill Clark, age 89 of Sparta, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at her residence.

Wanda was born June 27, 1935 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late James Albert and Ada Lois Clemens Hill. Alongside her late husband, she moved to Sparta in the early 1980s; In the mid 90s, she began cleaning homes and took a lot of pride in her work. She was an active member of Sparta First Baptist Church. In her younger years, she found enjoyment in playing golf. More recently, she enjoyed word puzzles and watching the Game Show network.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Virgil Allen Clark who died September 15, 2005; son Keith Wayne Clark who died June 8, 2013; grandson Josh Clark and five siblings.

Survivors include her children Debra Duckett and husband Tom, James Allen Clark all of Michigan, Timothy Ray Clark and wife Trish of Doyle, TN

Daughter-in-law: Dena Clark of Sparta

Grandchildren: Steven Duckett, Michael Clark, Christina Nelson, Shane Clark, Stephen Clark and April Sullivan

Great-grandchildren: Kayla, Sydney, Nolan, Grace, Faith, Jordyn, Leah, Lily, Marshall, Waylon, Dallas, Joshua, Kadence and Gage

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, February 7, 2025 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7:00pm in the Quarles Room of Hunter Funeral Home. Brad Walker will officiate.
