Mrs. Willene Forsythe Roberts Brock, age 85 of  Sparta, passed away at 9:27pm Monday, October 21, 2024 at Willow Branch Health and Rehab in McMinnville, TN.

Willene was born June 2, 1939 in the Cane Creek Community to the late William Henry "W.H." and Velva Lee Medley Forsythe. She worked a variety of jobs but most notably she had a long career at Mallory. She enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains and taking trips out west. Her greatest joy was being Granny to her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a husband, Bethel C. Roberts;  five great-grandchildren; siblings Lansford Forsythe, Donnie Forsythe and Mamie Foust.

Survivors include her husband Sam L. Brock

Daughter: Gail Muciek and husband Jay

Son:Michael Cope and wife Cheryl

Grandchildren: Stacey Floyd and husband Tim, Justin Boyd  and wife Jennifer, Jordan Boyd and wife Lori, Amanda Cope and K.C. Cope and wife Lacie

Sisters: Sally Lockwood and Freida Young

A host of great and great-grandchildren also survive

In accordance to Willene's wishes, a private graveside service was conducted Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Old Bon Air Cemetery. Keith Young officiated.
