Mrs. Willie Belle Fletcher Baker, age 88, left to be with the Lord on Monday evening July 19, 2022 at 4:49pm.

She spent her last moments in the comfort of her own home in Sparta, Tennessee surrounded by her family. Willie Belle was born January 17, 1934 in Sparta, Tennessee. She was a cook at the former Tennessean Restaurant. She had a long battle with cancer but remained strong and battled it all the way through.

Family members she met at the gates of heaven include her mother Carrie Miller Fletcher Yates; father Charlie Gray Fletcher; husband Johnny Baker; two sons Bobby and Tommy Baker; sister Rubye Baker; brother Thomas Fletcher; half-siblings Mary Ruth Johnson, Nancy Cook and Judy Peardon.

Willie was the rock to the family she leaves behind to cherish her memory that include two daughters Brenda Baker Jackson and Linda Baker Harris

Grandchildren: Michael Shane Harris, Sonny Dale James Harris, Amanda Kaye Harris Parks

Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, July 22, 2022 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Sonny Harris will officiate.
